Yeah well I hardly have written something into my blog nowadays I feel it deserves a cheap update.

1) I had a blast last Halloween, wearing imitation lolita clothes and walking round town with a momok, a neko boy Nikki and with awsumsauce company. Heck yeah. Despite last minute change of plans due to financial difficulties, it was great. And I  got to meet Nikki IRL. He’s seriously amazing XD

2) Work’s been fine. Tiring too.

3) Picked up and re-read Queen of the Damned again.

4) Jumble of mess in my brain, I don’t know where to start or to end

I think I’ll fucking jizz in my pants if Massive Attack played live in Singapore during one of them music arts events that’s gotta do with jazz, soul, funk and all that. Forgot what it’s called, but I’ll really really -near die- like that time Oasis came to Singapore, because mainly I’ve been listening to their song Man Next Door and that’s a fucking good voice and some sexy bass as well. Plus that little dance Horace Andy makes is totally cool and awsumsauce. He’s like the only reggae singer who I’ll openly proclaim cool.

Perhaps you could be the judge.

If anyone out there who’s a Massive Attack fan and concurs, I’d fucking love to meet you. XD

Massive Attack fans are a rare bunch in Singapore where you see people falling victim to mainstream rather boring music, and that looks like it’s sorta changing… sort of.

Ignore blog post title again, it’s the title of the Joy Division song I’mma listening to.

I’m not going to rant about how much work life bores me compared to school. At least I’m getting paid for it. And neither am I going to rant about how public transport in Singapore sucks, because everyone knows that public transport everywhere during peak hours will suck some serious ass. The thing I’m concerned about is my increasing passivity to physical (and thus romantic) attraction…

I look at someone and don’t quite feel anything anymore. Sure, they could be beautiful or handsome and nice to look at, or even talk to (once I get over staring at their bloody physical assets) but that’s all about it, I don’t feel the increasing need to become closer to them to form something more, or to chase the certain feelings that might arise (but never does anymore). It’s funny how everyone around me keeps getting on with new relationships and saying how good it all actually is, how good it feels, but I don’t see the point anymore. And I feel I’m sort of impervious to that sort of thing, because I cannot feel anything at all.

Pleasure, you say? I can do it all myself. I don’t need anyone else for that at this moment.

It’s probably some form of asexualism I’m forming, or some sort of imperviousness to developing relationships. Or maybe my personality is becoming sort of undesirable. It’s probably because I don’t show affection to people in conventional ways, just like — yeah, I keep my distance, but when time comes I do what I have to do, and people around me most probably misunderstand it.

And it’s also because I’m less of a “relationship” person and more of a (somewhat) friendly but quiet person… things are generally nicer when it’s all in your head being imagined (main reason why I like writing and imagining and rping), or the world being quieted down and nice sounds filling your head, instead of people rambling shit you know you don’t want to hear. You’ve heard it all before, haven’t you?

Ah well, I don’t see much the attraction of being tied down to one person and shit. I’d rather do polygamy :eyes: But that’s bullcrap as well. It can’t exist because you can’t make everyone happy.

It’s 30th tomorrow and it’s gonna be payday, and my mum’s birthday due in 3rd October and I’ve already promised to bring her out for a nice dinner. Then I gotta go buy my long-lust items, Nokia E71, a new set of good earphones, clothes and all that. Oh well, overplanning much?

Been going to work recently — official title “Customer Service Representative”, giving outbound calls regarding bills for mobiles.

Surrounded mainly by 98% people older than me. Almost all of them have their own quirks. We have this one auntie who randomly talks to people regarding random stuff, often leaving them baffled and just answering appropriately to be polite. Then there’s the one who never smiles (or rather gives the slight one on the rarest occasions). Another one who talks as loudly as the ah pek down at the kopitiam and thus distracting me from my bill rape — I mean rebate, but it’s something I’ve managed to phase out quite easily.

I got bitten by ticks that came from someone’s house and it sucks because I’m getting more scars, which I don’t need. e,e

That’s about it, I suppose. Long hours are long, and they tire me out. When I get my pay I’mma get a Nokia E71.

On other news, I’m in love with Gackt’s voice in the Malice Mizer album, Voyage.

The Vampire Lestat — a tale of an illustrious, larger than life French nobleman vampire, doomed to live life as an illiterate high-ranked noble in the countryside of France, but without a penny to his name, as a human. Lestat finds himself battling moral questions, being wild and inquisitive, questioning everything. After Magnus’s suicide he finds himself betrothed to an incalculable fortune, and evidently seeks out others to fill his loneliness. He turns his sick mother into a vampire, and Nicolas as well, before moving to the New World, America and finding a Creole named Louis, starting a family with him after he had turned him. Series of misfortunes happen, and he evidently seeks comfort by going underground and sleeping for several decades. He gets awakened by the sound of a rock band playing nearby in his old house, and joins them, creating songs to reveal vampire secrets aimed to revive the other vampires who have been hiding… and the series continues to Queen of the Damned.

I read this book 7 times already. I know all this by heart. XD
