It is kind of awkward for me to type properly now since I am in a quiet hush-hush library, using one of the stupid computers… See, I hate it that they are still using goddamned IE (it’s not even the latest version!) where there are lack of Mozilla Firefox’s and spellcheckers.
I hate it, Ich hasse est.
And silly schoolgirls giggling and making a general nuisance out of themselves… It distracts me from my thinking patterns and all that. Now I remember why I am very much happy to be out of school – the lack of giggling, gossiping, fangirling (Well I am too, but not so exaggerated) dolts around me… So, yeah.
I’m in the process of BOTS’s 13th chapter, it’s going well I think. If well is getting distracted with watching Gravitation and Shindo Shuichi’s cute-as-hell antics and enthusiasm towards Yuki, and not focusing on the task ahead.
Now I know why every yaoi or shounen-ai fan must watch at least one episode of Gravitation. -__-”
Sometimes I wonder if my writing has improved one bit. Hm.
I am also in desperate monkey love with Kanna Nobutoshi’s sexy voice…
I’m finally back to blogging after a long hiatus, which was taken to feed my own overwhelming obsession for the Get Backers and need to write a vampire fan fiction on them. Seriously, if you take a look in the Get Backers fandom there is little to nonexistent fan fictions which portray the Get Backers and vampires together in any way you want to imagine. So I took it to myself that I had to change that, and thus came the birth of Blood of the Snake. I have lots of free time as well, seeing as I’m still waiting for my O Level results – so until now I’ve managed to write an astonishing 18,800 words (as of Chapter 10) so far, which is quite a feat to me because I can never imagine I could ever write that much lemon (in other words, explicit sex) and blood-sucking in say – a span of a month?
And art! Do you see those gorgeous eyes lining my header bar? That is my very own creation – Cadmus Baptiste. I’ve had enough of talking about him for now, I fully intend to take a 2 days’ rest from writing, so if you want to know more about the sexy vampire, just refer to here: http://www.fanfiction.net/~retroelectric
Besides that, I also have a secret that no one ever knew, or could ever expect… and that is…
DESPITE THE FACT THAT I’VE WRITTEN 7 GB FICS SO FAR, I’VE NEVER TOUCHED A GET BACKERS MANGA TRANSLATION EVER BEFORE.
I hope it doesn’t show in my writings, though, I always aim for the best.
Like seriously. I leech all the information I know now from the oasis of knowledge called Wikipedia. It is surprisingly helpful to have something like that as a reference guide as I write my thousands of words on the computer. Also, it seems like there are nonexistent beta readers to help me to edit and critique my fictions for me before I post — so everything is spellchecked by the wondrous Mozilla Firefox spellchecker. I love you so much Firefoxxxxx. -glomps the creators-
And because I’ve been spending too much time on Blood of the Snake, my typing has gotten considerably faster and I have been neglecting most of my friends (shh) D: But nevertheless, no one seems to notice that besides me, so that may or may not be a good thing. I also get this habit of checking the word count every ten minutes or so, and when I check it I go : Just 1000? Seriously? That’s too little words… must exaggerate…
My skin has also been bleached by the light from the computer (as I quote from my mother). That is virtually impossible since it is quite difficult to escape from a natural light source where I am. I mean how light-skinned or pale can a dark-skinned person like me be? I look at myself in the mirror, and I see not much of a difference — oh, maybe, there’s the start of a double chin growing, I must cut down on the sugar I put by the truckload in my hot cocoa and tea, I guess. Oh whatever. It will go away on its own, so screw my pallor and extra chin and bloobs and all.
Anyway, I think I’ve been ranting too much about the Get Backers thing, and I have to emphasise on my rediscovered love for Michael Jackson and the like. I remember back in the days when I was younger liking his tunes, really good and catchy and upbeat stuff. His pre-white stuff is amazingly good. I was digging through the music cupboards for a while, and stumbled across some old CD’s, and decided to rip them to my iTunes library. And now, I can’t stop listening to it!
I also found Najip Ali’s Oonik CD as well, and I was wondering – does he sing (or rap, for that matter) as good as he hosts TV shows? And the answer is YES, a most definite yes from me. I am now a fan of his – his music is surprisingly good. Go check out Kita Oonik and Ren-Tak Oonik on imeem or something — it’s pretty good stuff.
Okay, so now I’m going to take a 2 day break from writing 3 2000+++ word-long chapters in approximately 3 days, and hope to all the readers and my chums out there who’s reading — Have a great weekend ahead, and all the best for your O Level results (I’m not expecting that much to be honest).
Ja ne, minna-san! :D

It’s approximately 34 minutes to the brand new, sparkling shiny new year 2008 and I am not very sure that it would make that much of a difference to my life at the current moment, but I’ve been thinking of typing down all the things that I’ve done this year that merits acknowledgment by myself.
I’m not sure how much I’ve changed throughout this past year, maybe those people around me may vouch for that, hm? Then again, there hasn’t been that much people around me lately. Even during Christmas gatherings, I feel as though I am isolated from all. I know it is just me, the way I can’t seem to click with people I deem strangers. That could be one of the New Year’s resolutions for me, to be more sociable? But it’s not like I clam up in front of people, I just get nervous, you know. Could it be that I might be the self-conscious kind of person? Well, I’m the kind to avoid crowds of any kind, preferring to stay home which is a sanctuary for me.
Ah, tomorrow will be the same day as yesterday was, there wouldn’t be any changes to myself of anything. But it could be seen as a crossroads in my life –I after all will be going to a different institution in the proximal future, and would be doing different things, meeting different people… it would be very interesting indeed to see what lies ahead in front of me.
Well, it would be better if I compile a list of things that I’ve done this year.
5 MOST NOTABLE THINGS I’VE DONE THIS YEAR
- Transcended my Vampire Chronicles and Lestat de Lioncourt obsession into a painting for my O Levels
- Most importantly; completed my O Levels
- Graduated from Secondary school
- Made my very own ATM card (!)
- Written numerous stories for the Get Backers fandom
5 THINGS I’D LIKE TO ACCOMPLISH NEXT YEAR
- Complete my latest fan fiction “Blood of the Snake”
- Further improve my writing craft
- Learn Deutschspreche
- Find new interests
- Find the money to buy new clothes
Gosh, even my ambitions for next year are dull and dreary. It must be all the Massive Attack and Portishead getting to my head. Well, there’s no use for me to mince too much about last year, my mistakes and wrongdoings… things like that make me depressed. New year, and no school — I can at least look forward to that!
To all of my fellow readers and friends out there, HAPPY NEW YEAR, and may you receive many good things from the year ahead.
It is time for me to begin Chapter 7 of my story.
Ja ne!
